Skills development 2

In a small group I will create a trailer based upon a new release. I expect to develop the following skills:

• Have a clear understanding of the structure of trailers (pace, number of shots, number of locations, narrative, number of actors).
• Camerawork (framing, angle, distance, movement).
• Sound (creating a soundscape that thinks about mixing sounds [diegetic & non-diegetic]).
• Mise-en-Scene (range of costumes & props needed, numerous location throughout the film).
• Directing (acting is important as it contributes towards your marks for directing).
• Editing (integrating sound & image effectively).
