A recce is a pre-filming visit to a location. The purpose of the visit is to decide upon the suitability of the location for shooting. I will need to comment upon the access to necessary facilities, assessment of potential of any potential issues with sound or any issues at all.
Location: There is a car park on Gladstone Street, which at night, due to its emptiness can double as a football pitch due to its vast space.
Is it suitable: Yes, as it is very easy to access and I will not be tresspassing. The lighting will be good as there are street lights to illuminate the place. Sound is very good, as the time I will be shooting, the car park will be very empty and there will be no people around as it is desolate.
Additional comments/observations: The place is very suburban and therefore is suited to match the thriller repertoire of being a dark vast location.

Location: There is a tight street, which can get claustrophobic and where our chase will take place.
Is it suitable: Yes, it is legal to access. The lighting will be not a problems as there is street lamps illuminating the way. Sound will be very good as this street is not much used at all and will be quiet for most of the time.
Additional comments/observations: The place is very claustrophobic so it would be suited to the thriller repertoire

Location: Exterior of a house
Is it suitable: Yes, it is legal to access. The lighting is not a problem as there is a street lamp just outside of the house. The sound will be ok as at the time of shooting (which is at night) there will not be a lot of by passers walking in front of shots.
Additional comments/observations: The shot will see the protagonist exiting out of his house.

Location: Park Gate
Is it suitable: Yes, it is in the street so we wont be trespassing. The lighting is again not a problem as at the time of shooing, there will be street lighting which illuminate the street and make it easier for cameras to pick a picture up.
Additional comments/observations: The place will be a dark area therefore it will match a thrillers repertoire of dark locations
