Props, Costumes, Location & Test Shots

Props:

Football

This is a football. This is key to the narrative of our trailer as our protagonist and key characters will be playing football when one of the boys gets kidnapped after a ball is kicked astray. We can produce the football as we play football a lot anyway.

Chair

This is a chair. Our character who is kidnapped will be tied up in this chair and will be shown in the trailer. I can get this from my house quite easily

Mobile phone

This is a mobile phone. Our protagonist will use it to call the police to ry and alert them about the kidnapping only to be waved off as a crank call. We can use our phones for this as the phones are not a pivotal part of the narrative.

Costumes:
The costumes will largely consist of nothing special, but casual wear as the lads will be playing football so therefore they will be wearing t-shirts, jackets, joggers and trainers. We wear these clothes anyway at home, so therefore we will not need to buy anything else, the whole narrative of the trailer is not serious, and the costumes are casual.

This will be used to make the whole look of the trailer authentic and give the thriller genre a modern update with urban vibes. I gained inspiration for these costumes from a movie like Eden Lake where urban youth wearing casual clothes are central to the narrative.

Locations:
These locations will be used to film our trailer and give it the repertoire of the thriller genre as it is a dark and seedy location. The location is also very claustrophobic therefore it will be very useful to film key sequences there.
