Font Research

We used a font called 'Phorssa' for the title of our film, it will be used in the trailer, magazine and film poster. I chose it because its style resembles a ransom note, and this suits the story of our trailer as it is about a kidnapping. I found it on www.dafont.com.

For our inter-titles, we used a font called 'Capture It', we used because of it's harsh and distorted look, it gives kind of worn out feeling, that would visually match our trailer, as our trailer is about mystery and darkness. We also found this on www.dafont.com.

We used a font called 'An Unfortunate Event' for one of our production logos, 'Touch sky Entertainment'. I chose this because it was very mysterious and evil and also matches the logo itself with dark skies and hand-print covered in blood. We found this font also on www.dafont.com. This logo was used as the distribution logo at the start of the trailer.

For our other production logo, 'Mason Pictures, we used a font called 'Impact'. This was more of a straight-forward choice as the blood stain matched the colour of the red font used. It was very simple and blunt. We also used this font for some of the sell lines on our magazine cover. This font was already on the computer. The logo was used in the trailer as the production logo at the start of the film.

On our magazine, the fonts used are the following: 'Abadi Mt Condense Extra Bold', 'Gil Sans Ultra Bold' and 'Haettenschweiler'. These fonts were used
